Lyrica (pregabalin): A “new and improved” version of gabapentin, used as an anticonvulsant. Have been widely used for both paroxysmal and continuous neuropathic pain conditions such as postherpetic neuralgia and diabetic neuropathy as well as trigeminal neuralgia and atypical odontalgia. The drugs of choice for those patients who are taking other medications or have liver damage. Great regiment.
