Not really...: No, there is no magic to preventing stds. It's all about not coming in contact with the std itself. Sooo, you either wrap it up and protect yourself or you don't have any contact and abstain. Not much else to do to protect yourself... You can however help by insisting your partners get tested, and get frequently tested and good medical care. It won't help identify all risks, but it's a start.
