Can a ovulation test be positive for ovulation when in fact ur actually pregnant? i have heard the test can get the hormones mixed up!

Yes: There is a cross reaction with the hormone indicating pregnancy. So i sometimes tell patients to use their ovulation sticks towards the end of a cycle in which they are trying to conceive, to see if they are pregnant.
