My 12 month baby has elevated levels of imunoglobulin a qn serum level mg/dl 128.what does this mean?

Immune system: Is working...Iga is the mucous membrane antibody and the first line of defense. It means your child's immune system is working well. He/she may have had a recent illness and the elevation shows he/she was responding well to it. We worry about low-no iga.

Review specifics: You may upload the laboratory results to an inbox consult for a full review. The specific responses to vaccines may be tested if there is a concern regarding serious or recurrent infections. Otherwise, clinical follow up is suggested.
