Ovulation: Fertility depends upon when you ovulate in your cycle. Ovulation usually is just shy of half way through the cycle. Sperm left in the vagina on the five days leading up to ovulation are the most likely to cause pregnancy.

Yes: Although it's not likely, since it normally take another week to ovulate, not everyone has a regular cycle with predictable ovulation. It's possible to get pregnant at anytime during your menstrual cycle. I wouldn't risk it!
