Agree w Dr. Thomas.: Acupuncture can be beneficial in the treatment of many conditions and for pain/ decreased range of motion. The military is also training their acupuncturists in techniques to treat traumatic brain injury, post traumatic stress disorder, insomnia, anxiety, depression, etc. This is in response to the needs of warriors returning from operation iraqi freedom ; operation enduring freedom.
