A member asked:

Please tell me, could hepatitis b & c be cured completely?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sometimes: Hepatitis b patients usually recover completely and are immune. If it goes chronic, usually it can't be cured, though there's talk of cures with some of the new protocols. Hepatitis c usually goes chronic; the physician may try for a cure with intensive therapy and it may or may not work.
