Physiotherapy: Physitherapy is important especially in a young adult. You need to give something like Gabapentin a try if you have a lot of nerve pain. It takes a while to titrate the dose. Start with 100 mg at bedtime and go up to as much as 1200 mg three times a day. Your doctor needs to titrate this slowly as you don't want to be over sedated. Lyrica (pregabalin) is also used but the dose range is limited.
