Discuss: As physicians we all have responsibilities. You should discuss it with your doctor and have them explain to you the findings. I do it all the time and make comments as to what can be done or why abnormal, etc.. If they ask for the test, they are seen by the person, they have the responsibility to clarify questions and doubts. And if your daughter is of age, it is she who should know and tell you.
