A member asked:

Acute facial swelling/pain/rash/fever, what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Allergic reaction: The symptoms are consistent with an acute allergic reaction. The rash probably correlates with that diagnosis. Sinusitis rarely, if ever, causes facial swelling and a rash. Try a non-sedating antihistamine such as Claritin (loratadine) or Allegra and consult an allergist.
