See your Dr: Genital warts are easy for a doctor to identify. Syphilis also has an easily recognizable lesion and very identifiable spirochete organisms in early phase and simple vdrl blood test from then on. Hope you have neither.

Professional exam: Although syphilis can cause wart-like growths, this is rare; genital warts are hundreds of times more common. But the only way to be sure is professional examination. Good luck!

See your doc: either way you need to be treated.. The initial lesion of syphilis is called a hard chancre and it is a painless ulcer while genital warts or condyloma which appears like a caulifower. There is however a lesion cause by second stage of syphilis that can resemble condyloma or genital wart as it looks 'warty' and it is called condyloma lata. Again, see your doc. thanks.
