A member asked:

Please tell me, could i take co-codamol if i've had alchohol last night?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: Co codamol is equivalent to tylenol (acetaminophen) with codeine. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is cleared through the liver. If you do not have liver problems it should be ok to use. You do not mention if your alcohol use is heavy or light. Heavy alcohol can cause liver issues, and should be evaluated and discussed with your MD to ensure safe use of medications including over the counter drugs.
