Swollen injured fing: She need to have it xrayed.If it is broken and shows on xray, then they will put a finger splint and the finger will heal without any complications in 4 to 6 weeks.

It is better to: Check it out, some time this sign for fracture and that fracture could effect the joint and need something done about it.Good luck thank you.
