Scientific Rx: If 5% topical benzoyl peroxide 2x/day has not cleared you in two weeks, your personal physician can add a retinoic acid derivative or antibiotic. Other possibilities include the oral contraceptive pill if it's right for you, topical spironolactone (lots of folks don't know about this), and Isotretinoin for the tough cases.
