CTS or tendonitis: There is nerve involvement as proven by the radicular nature of the pain. Carpal tunnel is the underside of the wrist on the palm side. If pressure in the middle reproduces the pain and radiculopathy that might be what you have. Other sites could be tendonitis or the radiculopathy is the other way like radial or ulnar type. It is best to see md and be examined and be treated the right way.
