Cissus: Cissus quadrangularis is a perennial plant of the grape family. It is commonly known as veldt grape or devil's backbone. Extracts have been used herbally to help heal fractures, but do not know of any proof of efficacy by controlled clinical trials. Will not promote cold sores. That is recurrence of herpes simplex infection.
