A member asked:

Do i have a right to have my naphrostomy taken out ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Patients always have rights. More importantly however, you have to consider why the nephrostomy tube was placed. If removing it will cause danger of kidney damage it may be unwise to choose this option. You should have a frank discussion with the urologist who placed or supervised the placement of the tube.
