A member asked:

Can atorvastatin and gliclazide be taken simultaneously?

3 doctors weighed in across 3 answers

Yes: The caviat though is that gliclazide has certain hours of activity so we give it in the morning to control the rises of blood sugar with the meals and Atorvastatin is usually prescribed at night. There is no interaction of the chemicals and most people with diabetes are also being protected from hyperlipidemia due to the atherosclerotic effect of Insulin in the body, stimulated by gliclazide.

OK: Gliclazide isn't available in the usa so i can't check it directly, but it is a sulfonylurea (antidiabetic drug) and Atorvastatin is ok with others in its class with no interactions.
