How do i calculate my safe days and ovulation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A rough guide: If you have periods that are very regular and your menstrual cycle is always 28days, then you would ovulate on day 14 counting the first day of your period as day 1. The egg lives about 1 day and sperm can survive for 3 to 5 days. Therefore you could get pregnant on days 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15. Of course this pertains to a perfectly and consistently regular menstrual cycle. Check with your gyn.
