Yes: It is a steroid and can suppress the activity of the adrenal glands especially in time of stress.We don't have a good time frame when it can cause suppression but two weeks certainly has been considered. See your doctor to have it into a tapering dose if can, and always tell the doctor in the next year or so if you have surgery or stress about having been on it..
