A member asked:

I had essure done and it was confirmed successful. i usually menstrate the same time every month (the 26) but haven't this month, could i be pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: No contraceptive method is 100%. Even tubal blockage. Take a pregnancy test! pregnancy tests, even over-the-counter ones, are very accurate. Generally, if you conceived more than 14 days ago, the pregnancy test will be positive. If you had intercourse less than two weeks ago, it may be too early to test. But it is very unlikely that you are pregnant.
