A member asked:

Can a woman's emotional state of mind influence her chances of getting pregnant?

Experts disagree: While many feel that unusual stress and emotional factors can interfere with a woman's fertility, others feel there is no influence on fertility by her emotional state. However, a woman who is under a lot of stress should undergo stress reduction measures to be sure.

Sometimes: Women under significant stress sometimes stop cycling regularly, which can stop them from getting pregnant. Mood is not a form of contraception though, women who are stressed still get pregnant all the time.
