A member asked:

What are the usual short term effects of donating plasma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Practically nothing: Donors are screened to rule out conditions which might make donation a problem. You might be extraordinarily sensitive to the loss of fluid and be a little sensitive to standing up suddenly. There are very rarely some people with discomfort at the donation site. Mostly it is a very benign event and a chance to be a good citizen.
