Helps others not you: Donating plasma in a licensed facility is likely safe for you and helpful to others that need your plasma but it is not going to provide you with any health benefits. But if you are feeling generous, go ahead and do it. It might save somebody else's life.

Ask donation center: The standard donation time is monthly, and it is best to have type ab blood. Check with your blood donation center to see if they with accept twice weekly donation. As far as this being healthy--no, for the process depletes your system and it is up to you to eat/drink properly to stay healthy.
