Vascular reaction: Is it you or an older relative? If it's you and you are otherwise young and healthy, it is probably a vascular reaction with vaso-constriction which shows up as a bluish discoloration of the extremities; especially the digits. In older compromised individuals, it may mean peripheral vascular disease.
