Lymph nodes: One can have 1 enlarged node the size of a pea or as large as a bean or marble. There a lines or chains of lymph glands in the neck and, in benign cases they feel like a line of very tiny beads. They are usually firm but not stoney hard. These shotty benign nodes may be found after various infections and are less common in adults than children. If in doubt have your md examine and advise you.
