Is it okay to take rolaids in between my morning and nightly dose of zantac (ranitidine) during pregnancy? just taking zantac (ranitidine) alone doesn't seem to work.

Depends...: What are you treating? If just indigestion, then antacids consumed 1 ; 3 hours after a meal and at bedtime may be helpful in the majority of patients, but may be too high a dose for a pregnant one. Don't know what your zantac (ranitidine) dose is either, ; perhaps with consent from your obstetrician this medication can be optimized. Stick with gerd diet and behavior restrictions (see prior healthtap answers.
