See answer : There are many causes of urinary retention in women, broadly categorized as infective, pharmacological, neurological, anatomical, myopathic and functional. Within these categories, diabetes, stroke, constipation, bladder prolapse and medications being among the most common causes. Albuterol may definitely be a factor; Celexa (citalopram) less likely. Recommend you discuss with the md who precribes these meds.
