Patience: The increased estrogen from the pill can result in some increased breast tissue density - that will likely recede as the ovaries are suppressed by the pill. It would be safe to continue self breast exams and it the mass persists or enlarges then see your ob/gyn for evaluation and management.

Birth control pills: If you notice any lump in your breast you should see ur doctor right away. It may not be related to your starting the birth control pills, but it needs to be checked.
