What's the possibility i had ureteral stent taken out to soon? i'm still having persistent flank pain a week later.

See answer : It's not aways clear as when is best time to remove a stent. Patients often want them removed sooner as they are commonly associated with pain/discomfort and urologists would tend to leave them in a longer to allow for swelling to resolve and healing to occur. Persistent pain after stent removal could be related to residual swelling/spasm or recurrent blockage from a stone fragment. Repeat ct?
