Dairy constipates: Dairy products are constipating- cause the casein ( curds) empty slowly from the stomach. The casein also gets converted to caseomorphine- which further slows down the movement of food. Try eliminating milk and increasing fiber and fluids in your diet. Eat more vegetables and beans- they are high in fiber. Drink at least 48-60 ounces of water a day.
