Why would anyone need a prescription for 800mg ibuprofen, when u could take 2 x 400mgs or 4 x 200mgs bought from chemist ?

Cost or coverage: Often times the higher dose tablets are cheaper than several of the smaller dose tablets. In the U.S., sometimes insurance will cover the prescription dose and not the over the counter dose.
