Care while eating: Not one but two interesting questions. Problems with burping are often remedied by sticking with familiar foods, taking smaller bites, chewing well, drinking plenty of water and not overeating. As for your fear of this happening in front of people, this could be a sign of a deeper issue that might be best discussed with a psychologist. Even if you do burp, do so quietly and politely apologize.
