No: Though the capacitation process is somewhat staggered amongst the sperm within any ejaculate, it occurs rapid enough and in adequate numbers of sperm to not delay or inhibit the chance of fertilization if one has intercourse on the day of ovulation. That should not be a concern. Having intercourse once every 24-48 hours in the 3 days leading up to and on the day of ovulation is best.
