Cyst rupture: Sometimes there is mid cycle hormonal bleeding but ovulatory cysts are very delicate and may bleed and cause cramping. If the pain becomes severe seek emergency help but it will probably go away.

Unclear: Breakthrough bleeding is almost always due to hormonal changes/imbalance and unless there are cuts in the vagina or cervix from the intercourse, bleeding is not related to intercourse. If you aren't trying to conceive and bleeding bothers you, can consider birth control pills to help regulate cycle.
