Can indian people get vitiligo?

Vitiligo: I guess vitiligo can be present in any race. I do know lot of people in india with vitiligo. Due to darker skin vitiligo spots appear more prominent.. I have also seen one person where the whole face and also hands appear to be white. I have not seen an american native indian with vitiligo, but am sure they can get it.. It will be interesting to get more comments.
