Circumcision or ?: Circumcision takes care of the problem once and for all. Some men want to retain the foreskin and want to have a prepucioplasty, this involves a vertical incision through the tight area on top of penis which is then sutured transversely, the foreskin then remodels as time goes by. Other treatment, which works better before puberty & only works for some males is repeated application of steroid cream.

Creams or surgery: The 2 methods to treat a tight foreskin include topical creams such as steroids. If these fail, the surgery is the next option for a circumcision.

Phimosis: Tight foreskin can usually be managed with topical medications. If that fails then surgery with circumcision or dorsal slit can be done.
