It varies .: Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is a medication that works for long periods of time because it has the capacity to store itself in our bodies. When you stop using it, your periods may return fairly quickly(3months) but it's not unusual for it tot take up to 18 months for things to go back to normal.
