Cervical spotting: You may have spotting due to the surge of estrogen at the time of ovulation which makes the endometrium more susceptible to spotting at this time. Have your physician carefully examine the cervix at your next exam to make sure you don't have a cervical polyp or other cervical problem. I assume your last pap smear was negative. If not, it needs to be evaluated.
