Maybe not much...: No test result can be evaluated out of the context in which it was ordered. What kind of symptoms prompted the study? What are your underlying medical conditions (that may predispose you to intestinal yeast)? If you are in the midst of a GI evaluation, have they ruled out inflammation, other infections, ischemic pathology, as well as motility disorders?

Yeast in stool: Yeast are normal bowrl flora and recovery of low numbers in stool cultures is common. No significant correlation between candidiasis and incidental yeast detection in stool cultures.
