IT IS COMMON(MYOPIA): Nearsitedness (american english)and shortsitedness(british english) is common condition in young people where light that comes does not directly focus on the retina and makes distant objects out of focus.Medical term(myopia) there have been studies which found relationship between myopia and higher iq, and between myopia and school achievemen it is corrected with corrective lens glasses or contacts.
