A member asked:

Is cryofibrinogenemia a form of vasculitis?

Yes, kind of: Vasculitis is one of the manifestation of cryoglobulinemia. But the condition itself is a abnormal production of proteins which are commonly made by abnormal lymphoid/plasma cells....Often these are abnormal/neoplastic cells that make these abnormal proteins.

Great question!: Some cases are, most cases aren't! there's different types of cryofibrinogens and they're being sorted out. http://ajcp.ascpjournals.org/content/119/1/114.full.p.
