Soda bad: Most soda, diet or regular, has ingredients such as phosphoric acid which in essence upset your calcium balance, and to put things crudely, cause you to 'pee out your bones'.

Osteoporosis: Cola contains caffeine and phosphoric acid which may lead to osteoporosis. There has been mixed data but avoiding soda would be beneficial to your health in many ways.
