Go to your PCP : Your primary care physician is the best expert equipped to evaluate and treat you immediately outside of an er visit. Do not take any blood thinners (aspririn, advil) before seeing him/her, especially if your hemorrhoids are actively bleeding. Your dr. Will instruct whether sitz baths are warranted or not, and other measured. Best to not wait much longer since you are in pain and need relief now.
