Good you stopped: It takes more than 10 years of smoking to have a cancer causing damage to your body. So you did a good job of stopping in less than one year. Just stay away from tobacco and alcohol and you will not have any serious risk of cancer provided you eat healthy and exercise so that your weight also remains healthy.
