Yes: A lot of women feel very self-conscious about their weight and their new body in pregnancy. And it doesn't help that everyone you see wants to comment on how big you are getting. They are trying to tell you how happy they are for you and you are trying to forget about the basketball suddenly attached to you. It can be tough. Remember that the rest of the world thinks your big belly is beautiful.

Celebrate it: The big belly may be most embarrassing during the middle (2nd trimester) because it almost looks like you're simply gaining a lot of weight and so you become self-conscious. As you get to the last 2 months, it is so big that there is no mistaken that you're pregnant. Celebrate it! speaking of celebrate... Yes: Not having a belly 12 weeks is very common. Everyone's body is different and is dependent on if you have had a baby already, your weight and general physical condition. I find that many women are worried because of other people's comments. Such as " are you sure you are 3 months, you look small". If there is a concern about your size at any time, discuss it with your doctor.
