Various causes: Discomfort under the right rib cage could be due to muscle strain, gall stones, gall bladder inflammation, liver inflammation or problems involving the base of the right lung. Headache and neck discomfort do not appear to be related to any of these except possibly viral hepatitis. See your physician if symptoms persist.
