Can a shrunken stomach be dangerous?

Please clarify...: When you say "shrunken" do you mean contracted, empty, malnourished, diseased, etc.? Also, how was this determined (x-ray, endoscopy, visual or manual exam)? By "stomach" are you referring to the abdomen as a whole, upper torso, or the actual stomach organ? Do you have other symptoms or concern? Happy to help if we understand your question.
