She needs a: Workup as she has chronic hypertension and that needs to be worked up at 8 weeks it would not be from the pregnancy but she will be more at risk for super-imposed pregnancy induced hypertension so she will be considered high risk and will need close monitoring and delivery before her due date please discuss with her OB at next visit.
