A member asked:

I possibly have a contact dermatitis? steroids?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

First of all...: ..."possibly" suggests that you don't know for sure that it's a contact dermatitis. You need a firm diagnosis before starting treatment. Then you should find out (if you don't already know) what allergen is causing the contact dermatitis. A dermatologist can do that with something called patch testing. Indiscriminate application of steroids, without a firm diagnosis, is not a good thing.
